Sovevas athletic recovery footwear creator and OTUM Corp. founder Henry Hsu, participated as a Cultivating Entrepreneurship Panelist at California State University Dominguez Hills on March 22, 2018. Students assembled to explore best practices, challenges and solutions with representatives from the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) to learn about different paths to entrepreneurship.
Henry shared his experiences starting with the concept for the Sovevas athletic recovery footwear to forming OTUM Corp., the company that manufactures Sovevas.
Henry’s path to entrepreneurship was one of a handful shared by business owners from varied fields ranging from beauty, CSM technology, AR technology, consumer products, robotics and the food truck industry — all supported by LAEDC’s desire to inspire entrepreneurship while exploring best practices, challenges and solutions across business sectors.
The event was hosted by CSUDH’s Entrepreneurial Institute Executive Director and lecturer Mike Grimshaw was also the founder of South Bay Entrepreneurial Center (SBEC) in Torrance, California.
